Short story: Ridding ourselves of doubt

Pastor, Ruffy Gornish, was chatting to a parishioner about doubts, after the man had expressed his doubts about God to the pastor.
Here are the words given in reply by the pastor that Sunday morning, after his sermon that day, on love.
"How do we best silence our doubts?"
"When your mind lives too fully alive, apart from your heart, the doubts will never be silenced in that mind, separately living like that."
"Only when our mind lives in connection with our heart can doubts ever be silenced, as love soaks them all up into itself."
"To live more in your heart, allow God to enliven love in your life, by your reaching deep, past all else, to where love exists in you, as God."
"Our beliefs come and go, but truth remains itself in our heart of love, as seeds planted there by God. Grow these seeds into wisdom, from a well-lived life."
"Belief, at the end of the day, is of the mind."
"It is better if we feel God in our heart, and love God from there, rather than endlessly speculate about his existence, or not, with our mind, which believes, then doubts, and never hangs onto its beliefs, unless the heart is behind those beliefs too."
"Do not give life to your doubts, in your mind, by living fully from the love in your heart."

The Pastor had dropped all of his own doubts from his love, and trust, in God.

Fear and Doubts take a backseat when heart is full of love, gratitude and trust on the Almighty. Unfortunately, in today's world, intellect is placed at a higher hierarchy and heart is left out.

Yes, intellect, and our mind, seem to rule, most of us today, and we fuel our wants, and desires, and ambitions, usually through our egos.
A sense of gratefulness for our life, and trusting in God that we can live our life with his help, in fulfilling his goals for our life, rather than our only pursuing our own goals, ensures that we keep God foremost in our lives, and we love him being in our life, enough for us to do this too.

@innertalks I don't believe in blind faith or like to be God fearing. My trust and faith is the backbone of my existence.

@arunima25 Yes, I agree.
We need more than blind faith, a real connection to God, made stronger in us, by our praying to God, trusting him, and loving him, being in our lives.

Belief in our creator cannot be equated with blind belief.
Without our creator, we cease to exist.
There will always be doubts when our mind is allowed to override/overrule our heart and the inner knowing.
To enjoy the true essence of being alive, we need our creator beside us at all times..

Yes, without God, we are always at risk, of fumbly falling off cliffs, and stumbling over rocks.
God provides us with insight, awareness, and a connection to his wisdom, that opens the inner sight in us, so we lead then, a true heart-led life.

@Shiva49 The Earth might reach a place of no return before we do, and only then will we realise, we pushed it into that place, with our wanton living.
Some realised this a long time ago, but still, very little has been done about it since then too.
"When the last tree is cut down, the last fish eaten, and the last stream poisoned, you will realize that you cannot eat money."
An American Indian prophecy.

@innertalks A life of bliss or one of fits and starts.
The choice is easy but we have gone haywire.
We need to turn the corner before we go beyond a point of no return.
