Cuckoo in the house

This cuckoo came inside and did not know to fly out It spent hours flying from corner to the other.
I took a video of her movements but I could see she was restless and knew she had made a mistake getting inside.
Finally she found her way and in the meantime I enjoyed clicking her.
Here is one photo where she is seen perched on the fan. No I did not put the fan on

the cuckoo comes in the trees in spring. In our surrounding also they come and make sounds

Good that you didn't put the fan on. Poor thing!! I hope she got out safe and sound. We had similar experiences few times with birds entering our Master bedroom if the terrace door stays open and unattended.

She did find her way out finally. There was a baby waterfowl quite comfortable inside the house She came and went as and when she felt like

Sounds like quite the experience! Interesting Photo. Amazing how birds sometimes find their way to our homes and struggle to get out. Poor things perhaps were so confused for some time. Glad it was able to find its way back outside. It is also commendable that you took time to observe and capture the moments instead of panicking. Not all people would have done that. Birds are amazing to watch and special when we get to watch close. Sometimes we need such incidents to brighten our day. Well, enjoy the time!
