I'm trying to start my week out right. I found my world frosty white this morning. That was after I got out of bed- didn't sleep well again. I like L.L. Bean wool sweaters but don't want to pay the full price so I wait until I see a good looking one on ebay then I go for it. The shipping isn't cheap but overall the cost is lower than going outright to L.L Bean. So my newest zip up wool Bean sweater kept me from screaming with frost bite this morning. I had to scrape the car glass before I could drive to the pool. We decided to have Doordash deliver some teryaki noodles and tofu and eggrolls for supper tonight. Tons of sweet grease. We're listening to a mystery novel via Youtube. I am exhausted but this crazy novel has me wondering what will happen next. I hope everyone is doing well in their corner, whether you are too hot or too cold.

I love LLBean clothing, the basic styles, and the simplicity of them. Plus, they last forever. That's nice that you had a break from cooking.

I used to love getting those L.L. Bean catalogs through the mail - does that still even exist? Hope you are staying warm out there. We're getting some rain now and for the next couple days.

@much2say I live north of you. We had a warm sunny porch today. Tomorrow its snow and ice warnings but know what? I'm retired so if need be I will hide in my house.

@sallypup Interesting how weather is so on and off, right? We are having to run around with 2 kids with 2 very different school/class/work schedules . . . I have to be out no matter what.

@allknowing I have to scrape the hard ice first before the wipers work. Plus the ice obscures the side and back windows.

It's cold with snow predicted for later today. I'm just happy that my car is in the garage and I dont have to deal with cleaning it off.
