Ground raw meat (with several spices and lemon to cook it) is a German dish. My grandpa loved it.
It also has mustard and diced onion. It is served over a blackish rye bread. And as we add some extra spices because of our personal background, hot chile has to be added too.
Among the food I often eat is ceviche (raw fish and seafood cooked in lemon) and this raw red meat.
Do you eat this?

Eating raw ground meat is not recommended by health experts, doctors, etc. and is discouraged here. Especially since E coli and Salmonella have been so prevalent in the US and can sicken and kill quickly. I admit I love a rare steak, but not raw...and I absolutely cannot eat sushi. Back in the 90's, we lost a friend who did nothing wrong but go out with her husband the night before, and had sushi for the first--and last, time. It killed her in a couple of hours, so no thanks, at least not here in the US.

@MarieCoyle There are some fish that I would not eat, at least not now. But red meat is perfectly safe here as a vet checks it.

@marguicha .......I've eaten sushi but that's about the only raw meat I've ever eaten.

In the 1960s while growing up we had a neighborhood with stores like the bucthers, My father got fresh ground meat and mixed it salt and pepper and finely chopped onions, On bread it was delicious,

I only eat raw veal meat. I don´t eat pork or chicken if it is raw.
