I just finished dinner with my parents and I really enjoyed tonight's dinner. My mama rules her kitchen with an iron fist and no one is allowed to cook in her kitchen except herself, not even my grandma who is my papa's mama when she stops by.
We had rib-eye steak with chimichurri sauce on the top which is a green Argentinian style sauce made of ingredients like parsley, chili peppers, olive oil, and more along with a side of baked potatoes and green peas. It was very delicious and all three of us enjoyed it very much.
It's really wonderful to settle down and eat with my parents at the same table after a long day. It's a great way to spend time with my parents because I understand that we are all busy people and can't be together all the time despite living under the same roof. I appreciate my mama's cooking efforts. She never fails. Every meal she has ever made that I had the honor of eating has been delicious.
I am in a very good mood tonight thanks to a wonderful dinner experience. I'm also on antidepressants and it looks like they are working very well tonight which is a pleasant surprise because most days they just make me lethargic. I doubt I will be feeling hungry for the rest of today, but I will settle down with chamomile tea to end the day.

We try to have at least one meal together thanks to my mama's stubborn insistence.

That does sound delicious. I know what you mean by a mom that rules her kitchen. My mother was a great cook. She could take very little and do wonders. It's so nice to have a grand relationship with your family.

I'm glad you enjoyed your dinner. I enjoy cooking for myself. Sometimes me and my Mum get under each others feet in the kitchen. ![](/Content/images/emotes/lol.gif)

Like I mentioned in a prior response, if you're on antidepressants, you should also be in counseling. You're in a difficult situation with your ex-husband, family, and sister-in-law and you need to talk with someone about coping skills and having a game plan for being independent.
