Fifty years is perhaps too long a time. Perhaps I should say twenty years. The speed the population of the world in general and particularly our country is increasing, what may happen. Resources of the earth are limited. Living is getting more and more difficult and expensive. People try to migrate to counties where life seems easier. But even the counties of their destination are getting overcrowded.
That's why it is natural to think what will happen in twenty years ., thirty years or fifty !

At my age, I don't have many years to worry about lol. I'm just thankful my next home will be heaven for all eternity.

I know India is teeming with people. In Australia, we have vast empty spaces inland but no way for people to make a living there.

The population will not increase rather decrease in coming decades. There will be challenges in terms of living expenses and standards and hence the general population could be forced to decrease. Migration may happen as the climate change could impact certain areas severely , whereby which some areas would be permanently inhabitable. Technology could advance and help in conquering new things , lifespan could generally be better and there could be larger dependency on AI , in different spheres of life. What we may not be able to predict is the general life on different countries and regions. However, it would not be easier to live compared to earlier times in the future.

You bring up such an important point. The way the population is growing and resources are being used up, it’s hard not to wonder what the future will look like. Life is already getting more expensive, and migration is becoming more complicated as countries struggle with overcrowding. It really makes you think—how will things be in twenty or fifty years? Will we find better ways to manage resources, or will things get even harder? It’s a bit worrying, but hopefully, innovation and better planning can help us adapt.

This kind of fear was expressed in earlier years as well not necessarily with regard to population but we are all surviving

Maybe there will be 10 billion people by then. I will not be contributing to the population increase that's for sure.
