Got a lot done today. Going tomorrow to get lampshades for our lamps. The old shades are falling apart.
We were having a problem finding ones that will replace what we have. We stopped several days ago at a lamp shop hoping to find some...and we did..we were about to pay for them when the lady told us she was giving us a discount, that the lampshades were now $125 each. I don't think I have ever seen Tom so careful with anything as he was with that lampshade. Needless to say we left empty handed.
But yesterday I found one at Walmart that is not the exact size, but close enough, and only $19.95 each. The Walmart where I used to go did not carry them. Only this new Walmart and the one on the beach carry them in stock.
So tomorrow I will be going to pick them up.
We had left over roasted chicken and Pict Sweet Grilling Veggies (red potatoes, Brussel Sprouts, Carrots, and onion).
Hoping to get my TV set up in my office tomorrow.
