Good morning myLot--SNOW DAY

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 35 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. It snowed overnight. We wound up with at least a few inches of snow. I see the head maintenance man out there plowing already but I think even my car could go in this snow. In any case we knew that there was a delayed opening as of like 4pm yesterday. The call at 5am to close woke me up before my planned 7am alarm. Sooooo I am up for now but I guarantee I'll be back in bed in a couple of hours. Why not? Soooooo it is an unexpected day off. I am sure I'll get up to some things in the kitchen. My coworkers will be happy tomorrow. I have 2 hours of online tutoring this afternoon. Otherwise I will be here at the apartment with the cat crew catching up on the news and sharing my hot takes on things. What's everyone else up to today?

Why go back to bed? If I have extra time I make myself productive and find a way to make it profitable. Time is money, you know. lol

I went back to bed because I was tired and I could. Not sure how to make money from here other than virtual tutoring.

@porwest You know the stock market. You like that stuff. Good for you. I don't understand it so I'm not involved in it. I'm sure as hell not going out in this weather to collect quarters from carts in the ShopRite parking lot

I am enjoying a snow day, too. It got up to 14 F today. I doubt we will be off tomorrow though. I am classified, not certified, but they will pay us for the school being closed. I have slept a lot today, and had a long hot shower. We ate leftover meatloaf. Just chilling.

Good morning. After all the hype about getting 3 - 5 inches of snow yesterday/last night, we didn't get any in my area. (Other than the flurry of tiny flakes I saw falling when I was cooking lunch at 3 pm yesterday.) It's still 31F which is what it was all night. (The weather app on my phone says we're getting a freezing mist right now but I can't see it and I'm not getting dressed just so I can go outside and check. ) I hope you enjoy your day off.

We've just dropped off the motor-home to have the hose under the hand-basin repaired. We'll get a call in a few hours to go and pick it up. Then I have cards tonight so that will be my day basically. However, the second load of washing is done and I'll make a loaf cake this afternoon. Not a bad day for me really. I don't usually do half that much. lol
