Trump stated that imports from precise international locations were a danger and that the alternate agreements could be revoked, citing country- wide safety concerns. moreover, he issued a separate order regarding the import of aluminum.
regardless of cautions from China and Europe, US President Donald Trump on Monday declared he'll impose 25 percent price lists on imports of metal and aluminum beginning March 12.

I am looking back to the same tariffs on steel and aluminum during his first term and there was one conclusion I drew and I was directly connected to these tariffs as products I sold were in those categories...it had NO impact that hurt business or prices.
In other words, I am not concerned that there will be any impact this time. We have to protect American interests, jobs, and industry.

Yes, this move would impact many exporters in India, although Aluminium imports would be impacted more.
