It looks like getting out of here will be fairly easy. I am not going out with the car until tomorrow though. Alot of the snow has mostly melted in the driveway and more melting willl occur today so it will be easy to drive out. There is a fair amount of snow around the car itself though, so I will use the snowblower on those areas today. Since the plow hasnt been by??? They must be over budget for the year!..down at the bottom of the drive should be OK.

I don't think its needed at this point really, but I am curious as to why I have not seen anyone at all driving up or down the street since Tuesday. Maybe the mail has come but I haven't heard it. I am going out to do my steps today so I will check it out.

@Tampa_girl7 Not expecting anything..so I don't really care. I can live without brochures telling me about how they want to replace my windows, and magazines from the power company etc.

With these yo-yo temperatures it’ll melt tomorrow and freeze again Saturday.

We didn't even reach 20 degrees today, tonight will be about 5. The main roads are scraped and re-salted and the street and road crews are prepping for the weekend, as we are forecasted to get more ice and snow. They can leave the ice for someone else, and just send the snow...but it doesn't look like they are going to do that.

@MarieCoyle 1 degree yuk.You are in the mid section of the country though always more temp extremes than the coastal sttes, except for maybe Maine or Vermint.

It's a bit past midnight, and currently ONE degree. ONE. But it's winter, so I expect spells of extreme cold, we always seem to have them.
