Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 47 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. Meh. At least it isn't snowing. I'm done with in-person work for the day. I high-tailed it out of there as soon as the bell rang. It is the day before a holiday so we don't have to hang around until 1:50. We have a 4 day weekend. Hooray! I remember a couple of years where the kids had all 4 days off but staff had to go in on Friday for a professional day. You can imagine how well that went over. I have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon. I also need to order some groceries. Such excitement here at the apartment. Someone is supposed to come to buy a diamond pendant necklace I am selling. I haven't worn it in well over a decade so I'd might as well sell it and get the $$. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

I hope the person turns up for the necklace. It's crazy sometimes what we hang on to for years and years.

It's still only 22 F in my part of Missouri but it has stopped snowing, the sun came out and appears to be clearing off some of the snow already. I'm about ready to go back to sleep for a while this afternoon. (Usually, Pretty wakes me up around 7:30 pm and I go in and start getting something ready for supper around 9 or 10 pm. We have a frozen lasagna that I just need to pop in the oven for tonight. )

I have only five or six students today. Two of them are my read-headed ADHD boys. I actually delight in them. It should be a relatively chill day. Heh. But not cold. It feels like it's about 50 F outside.

I hope they show. Sometimes the do. Sometimes they don't. I am almost done with the L-100s I'm working their daddy will show. These things are worth $1600 in eBay these days.
