Up until today, I have had MAYBE one scam call. Today I had 2. I think maybe they are getting into Walmart's page. The first one said he was from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, and that I had a suspicious package from Mexico.
I laughed at him and told "Nice Try".
Later I got a call from TJMax Mastercard.
That I owed a balance on my card. I made her repeat herself, and then I told her I didn't have that card. And didn't owe any balances. She wanted my Birthdate to confirm she was talking to the right person. I laughed and told her that I wasn't giving out my birthdate. She said she couldn't verify I was the person who owed them. I laughed and told her..Guess you won't...have a nice day and hung up. I love messing with these people. They deserve it.

I'm surprised you even answered that call. I would've let it ring and hang up by itself.

Sounds like the second could've easily been a ligit debt coloctor. When I got a free track phone some time ago, I was getting calls from our local arrons about a deliquent payment for an ashely. Oh well. I don't blame you for that. I know debt coloctors who try to gget me to give my checking or credit card info over the phone. Tthat's usually when I hang up on them.

Wow, two in a single day! Definitely the scammers are getting creative but then I liked the way you handled them like a pro! In last 2 weeks, I too got calls from scammers. They are calling from international numbers and stating my cell phone would be deactivated due to payment issues. I asked them to go ahead and deactivate. Well, I loved how you turned the tables on them – especially the ‘Guess you won’t part’. I would take a leaf from that and handle the scammers the same way if possible. They really do deserve a lot of their own medicine. Hopefully that was the last of them for a while, atleast for you. Take care!
