Stupid Streaming Provider!

So, awhile back, I dropped cable and went with You Tube TV. Less money, and more channels. It was pretty affordable but a couple of months ago they raised their prices by 10.00 per month, now they say they may be dropping CBS... They say they are trying to reach a resolution with them, but if they can't they will drop everyone's price 8.00 per month, which would give you the money to pay for Paramount Plus... I think I am going to look for another provider. What is this crap? However, only the expensive ones carry the major networks. However, although they didn't pick up the contract for a 3rd season, I could probably still watch the new Frasier on Paramount Plus which I have wanted to do.

Have you tried Amazon Prime? At least with them I can pick what I want to watch out of the thousands of movies & TV shows they offer plus if I want to buy something I don't pay a delivery fee on anything that is designated as a Prime approved purchase.

@rebelann Yeah, but do they carry the major networks? I have seen where you can download the apps from the networks..but not sure what all that includes.

I know they don't have everything we want but for about $17 or so you can also use prime to get Paramount+ or other channels with various prices.

I have Hulu Live and get all the local networks. All these streaming services are getting expensive

Yes, same price as YouTube TV. I wanted to sign up with them initially, but since I had. Previous free trial, the sign up wasn't smooth. It should have been easier. I guess the good news is, now I hear they have reached a temporary deal.

Bad news, that happens ALL. THE. TIME. Every 2-5 years, however long they negotiate their contracts/agreements with channels, there’s a stalemate and a fight: the carrier sends you an e-mail and says that the channel is being unreasonable, and the channel sends you an e-mail and tells you the carrier is being unreasonable. I don’t have any streaming services (the only thing I like to watch is baseball, so I buy that straight through the MLB app), so I guess they’d both say that I’m being unreasonable.

That used to happen all the time with Dish Network and Direct TV. I haven't heard of it happening with streaming channels. The good news is that it seems to be resolved at this time.

I don't have any streaming services, but I watch free movies on YouTube. That's about it.

@lilacskies I am not paying for them in the first place..Friend seems to be the entertainment czar around here. Most of my streaming channels are free.
