A city in Georgia will attempt to set a world record starring kazoo musicians

Organizers with the International Cherry Festival in Macon Georgia are attempting to set a new world record on March 28 when the organizers are seeking at least 5.191 kazoo musicians to break the current Guinness World Record of 5,190 kazoo musicians that performed in London in 2011.
"Kazoo expert" Rick Hubbard will lead the group of kazoo players with the admission of $5 dollars per person to attend the Atrium Health Amphitheater with the money going to the Otis Redding Foundation & Otis Redding Center For The Arts.
A ensemble of kazoo players in one place is kind of odd but it is being done for a worthy cause.

To me, that is not that many kazoo players, and I thought that they could drum up more than that.
They should also check their records, as the 2011 record was already beaten by 10,000 players in Melbourne, Australia, in 2023.
