Do you ever wonder what if this had happened. And that had happened. Or the other thing happened. Would everything be different than it is now.
What if your parents never met. Does that mean you would have never been born. So there would never be you. Or would you have been some one else and you would still be here. Not knowing that you were suppose to be someone else. But instead you are not that person.
What if you were born later and you are not really as old as you are because you were not born than.
Did I give you something weird to think about?

yes, of course. My youngest just asked me last week what if I had a third child, meaning younger than him. So I gave him all the possibilities of what could happen if that were the case. He later on said that it is good I did not have a third child.

All the time. I think of all the roads I never took and all the paths I could've walked on. My life would've been totally different if I made different choices. I think about them all often. It can be a torturous experience if I obsess over it.

I don't spend too much time thinking about things like that. The past is the past, and the future hasn't happened yet. Other than what lessons maybe I have learned along the way, I don't think about the past too much.

I wonder about these things constantly.
What if I had been born blind, or to different parents, and so had inherited different starting influences.
I might have been a completely different person.
Life does seem to stitch itself together though, and so perhaps, my life, could not really have been stitched up in any other way, as God's knitting needles threaded me as he wanted it to be threaded, I guess too.
I ended up as a pair of socks then, not as a jumper, because God stitched me up in that way.....

Stuff like that always runs through my head, like what if I was with her when she crashed.. Would I still be here etc...
