Do you currently subscribe to any periodicals?

I don'often get free magazines because usually they are something I am not interested in or they are way out of date.

@snowy22315 It was amazing. We discovered that we both wrote for Helium. She lived a few houses away from me and I never had any idea I would meet another Helium writer.

That reminds me, I need to have friend bring down the AARP mag when he comes down again.

There is something fun about thumbing thru a print magazine.

Do you read regular books or ebooks?

My parents always subscribed to Readers Digest.

I kind of miss having a magazine to flip through, that is why I ordered one.

@snowy22315 Even I like Books as compared to always reading PDFs or Ebooks.

Usually in the main reading room, they have current editions of mags.

I get a free one from the electric coop that I like..not too keen on other free mags though

@snowy22315 The one from Missouri Conservationist is free but it's more like a paid magazine than a free one. It gives information about hunting rules, has very good articles about wildlife in Missouri and gives instructions about how to avoid dangerous animals here. That's how I learned about the bears living wild in Missouri before we met one on a canoeing trip. Pretty was maybe 7 years old and had gotten out of the canoe to explore. I was just starting to climb out when I heard something snort. I looked up the river bank and saw a bear staring at her! I yelled at her to get back in the canoe and pushed off the bank as the bear started wandering in our direction. I paddled as hard as I could to get us away from it! Talk about being scared! I was terrified until we were well away from it! (Pretty told me it was a pretty bear, though. She just wanted to pet it. )

You probably never did.

@snowy22315 I used to get one but it was unsolicited as far as I remember. It's online so in the end I asked to stop sending the hard copy. I can always go online if I want something.

I used to get Food Network magazine. Most of those recipes are too involved for me though, and or, the ingredients are hard to find or expensive

That's funny, I wonder how you got on to their list?

What kind of mag is First? Interesting title.
