Police dog in Florida rewarded after he caught a burglar inside a pet store

Police officers with the Stuart Police Department responded to an emergency call from the owners of The Dog Spot who reported that a suspect had allegedly committed a burglary on Saturday February 8.
The alleged burglar had fled the store on foot and was seen in the back of the store police officer James Hall and his K9 partner Bak who with the assistance of Officer Lee and Hall were able to catch the suspect.
Bak was rewarded by the management of The Dog Spot gave Bak VIP treatment for a day.

@Deepizzaguy Definitely. I often do that in the past to reward my dog whenever he did something that pleased me.

He risked his life and all he gets is a day. Should be a honorary member for the rest of his life. See this why everyone hates corporate America. In old days they would have. Other than that, great story buddy as always. Someone has to say it.

Dogs like that do such useful work in rounding up felines. I am sure Bak was given some freebies to eat too, from the store.
