I am feeling lazy as I am commenting here. Today I did not went back to my parents home. I am feeling tired so I want to take sometime to rest at home. I do not value add by going back to my parents home only to snore in the air-conditioned living room and annoyed everyone. Suddenly, this commercial jingle, "Life is but a dream, come to Lau Pau Sat, life is but a dream." This was a vintage advertisement during the 80s or early 90s. I am surprised that the jingle suddenly pop up in my mind. I was suppose to do some presentation slides on investment with Early Critical Illness Payouts. But again, I am tired and I just want to relax. So this is off the table for me today. Maybe the laziness from the side-effect of an influenza vaccination.

Sometimes, our body makes the decision and tells us nicely and sometimes not so nicely. So, when body says to slow down, just accept it and in many ways it is good. Rest can never be classified as laziness. It is definitely necessary and especially if you are feeling the effects of the flu shot. And it is perfectly fine to skip the trip to your parents’ place as you are currently too tired to engage. I do agree it is amazing and funny that random jingles from past resurface out of nowhere. Our brain sometimes needs a nostalgia break. So, for now, take it smooth and easy and most importantly relax. You deserve and need it!

We all experience some kind of burnout, and I think that's you, today. We all need a lazy day to decompress and get outside ourselves.

Oh yes, I would think so. I think too much probably. Trying to make the most to retire earlier if possible.

It might be laziness from getting vaccinated or it might be you're just tired today. Either way, I hope you can get some rest this afternoon and worry about the presentation tomorrow.

It could be but I am happy that I can get to rest and not to worry about the presentation. No hard target for the presentation. I may need it later but not at this very moment.

Do you live at home with your parents? Snoring only bothers me if I’m trying to sleep if someone snored in the living room I wouldn’t care. Funny how jingles pop in our head out of no where.
