And I am going to eat one today with butter. I´ll make a tomato salad and coleslaw on the side.
Corn on the cob is a perfect summer meal. I love it. Gone are the days, of course, when I ate 4 or 5 directly from the cob. Now I cut the kernels. My teeth are not what they were. And dentists are very expensive.
Anita makes "humitas" to sell. They are made from grated corn which is cooked and placed inside the cob´s leaves. I bought 12 and froze them. Then I can take out one for each person when I don´r waht to cook.
I fix them my way before eating them though. I add butter and a bit of pesto and after I heat them I add sugar over them. Other people add hot chile but I prefer them sweet.
If I can made room for more while the corn is still in season, I´ll buy more from her.
In my country there are several dishes that we make while the corn season is on. We don´t use the sweet corn from the US but one that is saltier.
Now I will go for a walk to the living room too. I have to make my legs work a bit. See you.

My teeth will not let me enjoy corn on cob any more But I can boil it and eat it by removing the corn by hand (lol)

I haven't had corn on the cob in ages. They are harsh on the teeth. You are right.
