Took a drive

Tom and I decided to take a drive today. We went East of our home to check out what was available. Found a Whataburger, A Beef O Bradys, Applebees, and a Mexican restaurant. We went on east towards Tyndall Air Force Base to see if the fly over was finished. It was NOT finished. Tyndall got hit pretty hard by Hurricane Michael over 6 years ago. You would think that there would be more rebuilt. It didn't look like a Military Base, it looked like a Construction Zone. It is almost like they are working a few days on one place, then moving on to another place without finishing anything. It was awful. Tom and I both used to drive taxis and picked up at Tyndall...it was a nice Military base. Tom was stationed there when he was in the Air Force. It about made him sick to see the total MESS the place is in. Sad..Really sad.
