I just bought eggs that I didn't need desperately need last week, so I wasn't about to buy any more, but I will check there the next time I need eggs for sure. Other mainstream grorcery stores are charging quite a bit more. The organic kind of not factory farmed eggs seem to be cheaper. fine with me. They are better for you anyway in my book.

At that price, I would be buying eggs I don't need too! Nice score!

I didn't buy them. I already have about 20 eggs and I don't use alot of them, although I am trying to eat more for the protein aspects

@snowy22315 I haven't bought eggs since the price increase. My parents stopped buying eggs when they saw the bird flu articles. It's rough out there.

I stopped at my nearby grocery for milk and to grab the butter they had on sale, so I was close to the eggs. They had been selling what they call medium eggs(they seemed more like small to me) for $4.99 per dozen. They had a sign in that spot saying they didn't have any of those, but they haven't had for some time now. The next dozen up from that is $6.99 per dozen, and that's the very cheapest. I am glad my egg lady bartering pal came by with eggs for us, very thankful.

That is good. My guess is that the egg people here are not going to be offering them under 5 bucks.

@snowy22315 I imagine right now, finding them for $5 would really be a bargain for many people.

It’s been years since I bought any eggs, but I saw them at my local Walmart a dozen for $8.00 last week. I imagine they don’t last long at your Trader Joe’s considering how low $3.49 is. That’s such a great price.

The store was jam packed, I was surprised there wasn't a line at the refrigerator case.

Yes, yes, yes! It's been at that price here too. It is minimally double or more at other stores. I was told to come before 9am or else they'd all be gone . . . but since they started putting the 1 per day limit, they still have them by late morning.

I didn't walk over close to them, so not sure if there was a limit one or not.

Sure they weren’t plastic eggs? At this point I’m insanely happy to have an egg allergy.

I think I would have bought them and made a point to cook lots of egg dishes for the protein. I like to make breakfast casseroles to have for work day breakfast.

I should have bought them, but I don't really need any now, and I didn't want to spend a lot in there I had a budget, and other things I wanted to buy. Besides my fridge is pretty full.

Pretty was looking at the Ibotta app day before yesterday and they were offering $2.50 back on a dozen eggs. I don't know if the offer is still valid, though.

What store? I hate Ibotta. I used to use them back in the day and made a goodly amount on there, but Food Lion doesn't have that many of their products, and what they have are super expensive. They thought I wasn't buying things fast enough, and took away like 2 or 3 dollars of my money. Naturally, I deleted them.

@snowy22315 We only have a Walmart close to us so that's the store she looks up. Pretty has never said anything about losing money while using them.

Eggs aren't particularly expensive here. Or at least they haven't gone up much over the last little while.
