Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 20 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is way too cold. We are supposed to get snow tomorrow night. Ugh. I’m back to work today. I woke up at 4am with my heart racing. This place causes me a lot of anxiety.

I’m supposed to get observed today but I have no idea when so that’s fun. I have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon. Oh and get this—my neighbor is going to leave work on her lunch to get the dog and drop him off at my apartment. He will be there for like 4 hours. Whatever. What’s everyone else up to today?

I don't know how much your rent is, and I'm not asking. But with all the issues you deal with, I think I would be seriously shopping for a new place to live. But that's just me. The pool issue, Smokey what's his name, etc...I know it's hard to find really good rentals at an affordable price. I hope your heart is not racing right now, take good care.

My rent is $1425/month. It’s pretty much the cheapest around that isn’t filled with gangsters.

@NJChicaa Couldn't you almost purchase something for close to that amount? I know NJ real estate is nutty expensive but it just seems like a lot to add up...well, you're smart, you know that. But $17K a year for rent is a lot of money to me.
