Do you know the book series Daughters of The Moon? When I was in college or after college it was published here in the Philippines and its so expensive - for me! And i can't tell my mom to buy me those, coz I know its not a good thing to ask our parents when we know they are trying their best to pay our tuition fee.
The book was published without a softcover copy, it was all in hardbound prints so there's no way for me to find a cheaper one, not even in the BOOKSALE where they sell secondhand books of any kind, not even today.
But yesterday, I remembered that I got the whole pdf copy of "Princess Diary" on online for free... so I just try to find one yesterday and after a few minutes, I got a free ebook copy of all the book series as in 13 book in total! isn't great?
Did you get something today that you did not get when you were in college or highschool? Its a fun thing to know, hope you can share it with me. I feel so happy right now. and I started reading it like a nerd again. lol!

way back 2000 I guess... maybe you will not be aware of it, or you have others books that you love to read before... it reminds me of harry potter, the first book was sold for only Php 99, can you imagine that? And when it hit it causes 1500 pesos per book, and you can avail it for Php 1000 if you made a reservation at national bookstore, fortunately I have a friend who can afford it and she always let us borrow her books. Those were the days books is all we have, no social media, no youtube, only YAHOO. Hahahah.

@luisadannointed Because we could not afford Harry Potter back then, one of my friends who is a book collector would buy a copy and then we would schedule it after he finished reading it

Yes! Exactly, I am on cloud nine! You know the feeling that it brings back you to time where you are just little and no big responsibilities and all you have to do is go to bookstore and roam around. Lol! I miss those days.

@luisadannointed I have done that in my school days. We didn't have much of public libraries culture then here in our country. But later many came. And they I re lived all those childhood days with my two daughters. They are very much into books and reading

It is an amazing feeling to get your hands on something you wanted for a long time. The Daughter of the Moon series definitely should bring back memories for many of the readers. It’s amazing how technology can make it easy to find books now, especially once which were not easy to find and which were expensive. For me, book reading has always been limited to what I get from library. Also, since I was a science student, most of the books were engineering ones. For songs, I used to rely on CDs back then. Now you have steaming and eBooks and everything is now at your fingertips. I can understand the feeling of being a nerd again- nothing better than rediscovering something we always loved.

Hahahahaha a nerd again! bookish! whatever can you believe it? I just finished the first book yesterday all in one day and I started reading the second book yesterday also.
I feel you, books are so limited in the library so what I do before when I was studying I go to different libraries with my classmate and best friend. Encyclopedias in our school library is not enough for our cover to cover book assignment. But it was fun, I still remember the trees on the windows of each libraries that we visited... big windows! The sun light is very beautiful that day. I missed those day.
I think you are a very smart student, keep going and aja! God bless all the works of your hands.

I suppose robot vacuums came out only.a few years ago. They weren't around when I was a teenager I don't think. Were they? I'm not sure.
