You know that tiny one? I posted a photo too. I must say i used this cloth now and then but i can swear it wasn't blue but it was at the table at dr.'s office when she was checking my glasses. meeting was at 6p.m. and it was tiring reading all those numbers, then saying what lenses are good to me and all. i think it took about 20 minutes and eye drops were something that my eyes after i came out in a winter cold, they felt irritated a bit, like something was slightly burning them. thankfully, that strange feeling vanished later; my eyes were always sensitive to touch and they got me worried. My sight is more or less the same and new glasses will have less dioptry cause that's why i came; i feel these that those i have on, my only ones, they are too strong or too sharp; i can see everything, even spider web and old glasses that i lost 3 years ago, their dioptry is less but doc didn't say exact number, hm. Being tired, i also forgot to ask, will i get any discount from social welfare for my new glasses. my mother once said she got a discount but that was her region and she is retired. i'll sent an email to a doctor, i hope she will respond. she was very cool and i'm glad i didn't have any new bad experiences. waiting room was also very peaceful just, i came 15 minutes earlier but doctor didn't call my name although noone was called before me. i'm glad i wasn't 30minutes early. do you wear glasses or contacts?

I have glasses and contacts but rarely use the contacts anymore. I only wear the glasses for driving. I don't mind if people or things across the street aren't clear. They aren't close enough for me to worry about seeing them clearly. I'm glad you've got your new glasses. I hope they work well for you.

when i take off my glasses, i feel like that about anyone; they are blurry and i don't care about them thank you. i mean, i need to buy them first, then installing those new lenses but, yes, it will be like getting a new haircut but for eyes

@grenery8 You're welcome. I hope you get the new lenses soon. It's been almost three years since we had our vision checked so we need to make a new appointment with out eye doctor. (I get my eyes checked by a vision specialist every six months but they are evaluating the damage done by Graves' Disease, not checking to see if I need new glasses.)

I've worn glasses since I was a kid. Those eyedrops really mess with vision for quite a while. Doctors usually say not to drive for a while after they've put them in your eyes. I hope you get a discount.

i've worn glasses since i was 17; i hoped by time i won't them them but i am still stuck with them. doctor and sister didn't say a word, interesting but i will know from now, thanks. also, when i went to a private eye doctor, he didn't give me any drops, strange. thank you; i hope i'll get one.

3 years ago, i lost my best ones but that's how it is when you have only one glasses and the fastest was to go privately to eyeglasses store and get exam there and also buy a new ones. they gave me too strong power and i thought they were wrong about it but no, power now was slightly less, that's why i went. but, yes, i suggest seeing your eye doctor from time to time

That seems to be an exhausting appointment! Reading all those numbers and figuring out with the right lenses, especially when your eyes are irritated after eye drops. I am glad the discomfort has gone away. Good to know your new glasses will have less power. Perhaps your eyes adjusted over time or perhaps the previous ones were bit too high for your eyes. Not sure why the doctor did not mention the exact power. However, you now have the prescription which is good. It is good to ask the doctor for some discount. It is good to know the medical staff was friendly- it helps to make the whole experience better. I do wear glasses as most of my work is with computers and laptops. I have not used contact lenses yet. Take care!

since my eyes are this sensitive, i think lenses are out of question for me. thank you; i am really glad too that appointment went well but yes, tiring, for sure. doctor just said my power is a little bit of less than next time but you, are right, she should have said the exact number. i'm also glad that discmofort feom eye drops left, uh.
