Good afternoon myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 29 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. I'm very glad that the snow is going to miss us tonight. Work wasn't bad today which is always a good thing. My 8th period class was nuts but they always are. Nothing new there. The crazy thing is that they are my favorite class. A student from my 2nd period came by and saw some kids sitting at the back tables. A girl asked me if I had any snacks so she was digging through my fridge to see what she wanted. The 2nd period girl said "you don't let us do any of this". I just smiled at her and thought to myself "that's because you have a bunch of punks in that class". I'm back at the apartment with the cat crew. Claire has the zoomies. My neighbor wants me to watch Whiskey for a few hours later. Whatever. Fine. I have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon. More vouchers to keep track of. After that I have to make dinner. I'm trying a new recipe tonight. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Maybe you could tell Whiskey’s mom that from now on, dog sitting is $2 an hour. Cheap, yes. But think of the money you’ll rack up!

@NJChicaa I would honestly do it. I know many times you have been sick, and had to take the dog out in the cold to do his business....she is NOT appreciative and is using you. You have a full life and a job and 3 of your own pets, that's more than enough. She only has the job and the dog. Tell her you have to have that much or you can't do it anymore. Seriously, don't let her take such advantage of you anymore. True friends do not do this to their friends. I love ya or I wouldn't have said that.

Glad the cat crew is lively and I am sure Charlie will be delighted to see Whiskey. It has been a dark and gray day with no rain and it has made me lazy so I did not do a much online today. I hope you have a good evening,

It's strange how things get the zoomies. Our pet emu used to charge around from time to time. She had a huge yard, maybe a couple of acres, so could really get up some speed. She used the scatter the chooks (chickens).

What are the zoomies? I've never had a cat so I don't know what zoomies are nor have I ever heard of them.

You're lucky... It's 9F in my part of Missouri and I just watched a pickup slide off the street and into a yard. Idiots are driving up and down the street because the plow didn't do a good job. I think they're trying to flatten the snow enough that cars can drive down the street, too. I'm getting sleepy again so it's about time I went offline and took a nap. I hope things go well for you this afternoon.
