Trump is such a hypocrite

He and Elmo are against remote work. Trump complained last week that remote workers aren't doing their work and are playing golf instead. Um? Hello? Trump has golfed 7 of his 29 days in office. He's been at Mar-a-Lago every weekend. He is STILL in Florida today (Wednesday) and speaking at some Saudi Arabian conference. Maybe DOGE should look into all of the Mar-a-Lago and stupid sports events appearances. That's some serious millions of dollars to save each week. I worked remotely for over a year in 2019-2020. I always worked the hours I had to and I got my job done. Hell I work remotely during after-school hours to do virtual tutoring. I do the full hour unless the student doesn't show up or cuts out early. I am not the kind of person who would try to scam my employer because I need a job. I LOVED working virtually but I can guarantee that I wasn't out playing golf (like him) when I was supposed to be doing my job. "Rules for thee but not for me". Okay then bro let's see you give up the golf and actually try to do something about inflation, bird flu, measles, natural disasters, etc.

I am deeply relieved that my daughter is allowed to work remotely from her Tucson home. An hour each way dealing with horrendous traffic? Her company has sold their office buildings. Thank God. She works very hard. I am now worried that her company that is interrelated with Medicaid will lose some of their money but its a huge corporation. She even does many meetings every week remotely.

Trump is not a hypocrite at all. He works very hard. As for remote work, many studies have been done that conclude people are less creative and less productive when they work from home. You realize one of the BIGGEST sellers during the "remote work" trend were devices to automatically move your mouse occasionally to make the boss think people were working. People were interested in remote work because they could work part time and collect full time wages. It's that simple. As for remote teaching it NEVER made sense considering children were practically immune from Covid. Teachers just wanted another reason to collect a paycheck without having to work for it. The students suffered academically and the teachers? Of course, they didn't give a damn about that.

Children most certainly immune from COVID. Most of my students have had it

@porwest I'm not saying that I have any research or statistics on it. I'm just saying that over the past few years when the topic of COVID has come up and I ask how many students have had it more of them in the class HAVE rather than have not.

@NJChicaa You can't generalize based on personal experience. It's always biased and skewed. An argument is best made when it considers the median, not what resides in one's personal "bubble."

Why do something about inflation, bird flu measles outbreak, natural disasters, growing number of airline disasters, and nuclear safety when you can just blame Joe Biden and take credit when the stock market goes up... when Joe Biden was president? Who needs to go to the trouble of taking accountability? maga
