No Appetite

I have no appetite. I had a migraine that lasted all morning and noon today. I skipped breakfast, forced myself to eat a light cheese sandwich for lunch, and skipped dinner. I know I should eat more, but I don't have an appetite at all today. My appetite comes and goes. Today is one of those days where my appetite is gone. I don't even feel hungry. I only ate at all because I don't take my medication on an empty stomach.
I also have some bedsores on the back of my thighs that keep burning, tingling, and then burning again before the pain disappears for a bit and then comes back. I am in bed a lot due to my health problems and frequently have bedsores, but they never burned like this before. I cleaned them and even iced them, but they keep burning, tingling, and then burning again over and over again while the pain sometimes disappears in between.
I really should eat something for a late dinner at least, but I don't even want to get out of bed anymore. I'm just going to rest tonight. I slept only four hours last night and my body feels quite exhausted, but I am wide awake. At least my migraine is gone.

@lilacskies you should rest and drink more fluids so you will not be dehydrated

Thank you. My appetite came and went today. My migraine lasted until 1pm and now it's gone. I'm back in bed due to lack of energy and lack of appetite. Thank you. I will try my best.

@lilacskies I also have eating issues if I have fever. But I'm trying to eat at least a little amount of food.

Bless your heart, I pray you're feeling better. Could that burning on your legs be shingles? Glad your migraine is better. I have chronic migraines, but Botox injections help a lot.

Thank you. I am currently in bed recuperating. The burning is on the back of my thighs where my bedsores are. I hope it's not shingles. That didn't even cross my mind. Let's hope not. I have migraines, but fortunately, they haven't reached the point of being chronic yet. I never knew that about Botox injections. I will look into it. Does health insurance cover them?

@lilacskies I know Medicare and BC/BS covers mine, but I guess it depends on what insurance you have. I was required to try several meds first, but they had terrible side effects and didn't help the migraines at all. I finally got the approval from Medicare and the Botox really helps.

@1creekgirl I will have to consult with my doctor. I doubt he will approve it for me because my migraines come and go. I'll talk to him.

I think we feel hungry if our digestive system is good.I would like you to ask what you should do to make your digestive system function well.

@lilacskies I'm so sorry; I don't have any idea about it. Just see your doctor. He can solve your problem.

Ah hope I could help you out. Can you call a friend or someone close to make dinner for you?

@lilacskies Oh then you have your parents to take care of you. I am sure your mom has cooked something for you. As for no appetite, you can take some antacids and don't eat unless you feel hungry.

@Dreamerby They don't take care of me. We live under the same roof. I pay my portion of the bills. I won't be eating anything from the time being because I can't get out of bed. I will wait it out for now perhaps.

I don't have any friends, but I live with my parents. I just have no appetite. Even now, after waking up, I don't feel any hunger.

I doubt that will happen in my lifetime, but thank you for your kind words.
