Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 21 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 36. We got a light dusting of snow overnight but luckily that has stopped. It is Friday! (unfortunately not payday) I have work today of course. The students are working independently so I can catch up on paperwork and plan for next week since I might have to report for jury duty. It says a lot when I'd rather go to work than go to jury duty. After work I have 3 hours of tutoring. By then I will probably be ready for bed because I am absolutely exhausted. What's everyone else up to today?

Hello good day, it was a very tiring working day for me. I am not sure if it is because I am not happy at work or I am terrible in what I am doing. Either way I am having my constant mood swing.

I’m glad to hear you prefer your actual job more than jury duty. I had a job with children once that I might have preferred jury duty. Of course, that could be because one child was six, and just could not seem to control his bowels.

I don't know. To me jury duty sounds interesting. I have never been selected or even called. I think they do some back research on my politics and just leave me off the list. Part of the perk, I guess, of being somewhat of a public figure.

No they don’t research prospective jurors

@NJChicaa Seems weird that I have been a registered voter my entire adult life and have never been called once, but my brother-in-law has been a juror twice and my wife has been one once, and she's been called on twice but the first time they didn't pick her.

@porwest okay but that doesn't mean anything. It is randomly done by registered voters. Here in NJ you can only be called every 3 years. My sister seems to get it every 3 years.
