Waste of money

I just wasted Rs 2222 on a course! Now, its a reputed online centre and all but they didn't mention that their Google Drive course would be so complicated to download. There's immense palaver involved in downloading all the videos. First I have to create a folder then copy the path of the particular folder contents I am trying to copy and then paste the video link... download....(each video is taking around 30 minutes to download and I feel like I can spend that time learning online. Anyway, I wanted a refund, so I called customer service, and they said it's a non-refundable course, as mentioned on the website. Had I known it takes so much time to download the videos, I wouldn't have bought it. They never mentioned in the website that they don't have a streaming platform and that one has to go through such convoluted procedure to just download 1 video and there are like 100 videos! Ahh anyways Rs2222 gone! Anything like this happened with you people? Have you ever made a purchase you regretted?

Not like that, no. I'm sorry you're having a bad experience with their course. Make sure you leave reviews of the online center and the difficulties of downloading their videos. Maybe you can save some other applicant time and money before they make the same mistake you made.

I also took the subscription of PW for my daughter. Their courses also cannot be downloaded and it will be wasted after an year. Also, if you are solely preparing for JEE then the course is useful otherwise it is not.

Downloading the courses is a tedious job. Each takes 30 minutes, and I end up wasting a lot of time.

Sorry to see you had this bad experience. I had something similar experience and ironically just 3 days ago. I wanted to try faceless AI automated video generation and I checked a tool called invideo AI. Spent around $100 and that was substantially a loss as the video generation was not proper. In fact to rectify or recreate new one , more money need to be spent. I cancelled the subscription and well I would haveto check out the other tools , the free ones and then try for new ones. If I count my losses , there are many such instances and well sometimes it is a learning and sometimes it is a blessing. There are also purchases I have regretted and spending money on . Atleast with these experiences , I am atleast a bit more cautious. Take care!

That's weird. Having long videos on Drive and expecting people to download and view is terrible. There are so many online platforms that are easy for these short courses. Very shoddy of them!!

I think you learned a valuable lesson and just got scammed out of a lot of money. You shouldn't have to download anything, the videos should be avaible to play on the website, itself. You can put things behind pay walls after all and that's a lot of money to spend on a corse, don't you think?

It looks like an online scam. My wife was keen to order some dresses which were quoted very low. I knew it was scam but went ahead and they sent some crap items.
