Aren't they adorable. I think they are. There is 5 barred rocks and 5 columbian rocks. That should add some color when they grow up too. The heat bulb is red so that's why the picture looks reddish. I kept checking them at first making sure they were staying warm enough. I think they are.
Shopping went smoothly. I got everything I wanted except my red hots candy. I can make a quick trip to New Bloomington for those if I want them bad enough. The store was busier than what I am used to. That's why I like to go on Thursdays.
I have just mostly took it easy since getting home. It did warm up some and the white crap melted back some. Tomorrow we should be able to see some ground.
Hope you had a good day.

I’m glad you got them. They are in demand now, for sure. Enjoy them while they are tiny, they grow so quickly!

Good luck with your weather. When they grow up will they be free range? Where my daughter lives you cannot have free range chickens, so they go out three times a day to let the chickens out for a while.

Did Fuzzy check them out and approve of them yet? I'm sure you'll enjoy playing with them as they grow up.
I stepped out to retrieve the mail and a couple of packages that were left on the front porch this afternoon. I could see that some of the snow was melting on the street but our sidewalk and porch are still covered. We did get higher than the predicted 17F by late this afternoon. We made it clear up to 24F!
We should be quite a bit warmer than that tomorrow.

Those look so cute. However, it will only be a few weeks and they'll be leggy teenagers.
