Usually this cuisine is called "Malai chicken kabab". The kababs I made were Parsi chicken kabab and used malai/ fresh cream to make the curry. Parsi chicken kababs are made from smashed potatoes and minced meat. A paste of onion, ginger, green chilly, cashew is fried and water added to it to make the gravy. Some garam masala is added for flavour. The fresh cream is spread over the curry at last. Some coriander leaves are used to garnish that enhances the flavour. These dishes were actually brought to India by the Mughals.
