The real wealth of Elon Musk lies in his shares in the Tesla car company. Those shares have dropped 20% since Innauguration Day. But Tesla sales are down 1%. Tesla sales in Europe are down 40% although electric car sales are up 25%.Tesla was enjoying 38% and then 40% the last two years. Large protests outside SpaceX and Tesla companies in Texas, Washington D.C., and California telling Musk to get out(of the White House) with more planned in the near future. Though unpredictable it seems Trump and Musk continue to move forward with their assinine schemes and those with half a clue are pushing back. I wish I were younger, I would be out there. I am trying to focus on other things, really I am.

I doubt he cares. He will make his money back one way or another.

He already has more money than a small nation could use.

@BarBaraPrz Definitely. I doubt he cares if he loses some. He will earn it all back anyway.

That is what happens when you fall back into childhood like both Musk and Trump.

Tesla did not sell as well as expected in my country for a few reasons. First being we have other choices such as BYD. Second, Tesla price is not as wonder as China's EV. Three - Tesla mode not as nice. FInally, EV chargers are not as common as expected. Many drivers will only get to charge the car in the middle of the night.

Did you see the news article about Canada opening lines to supply Europe with electric cars in protest of Musk and trump?

that is great news. what I have advocated in my country is that we deal with any country except the US. In this way we won't suffer the horrors unleashed. More people have to buy anything that isn't connected to the Muskrat

@jaylar That should be interesting since the US is your biggest trading partner.

@DaddyEvil I know.. China is a close second... but I have been saying that we should open ourselves to other countries to replace the US Right now you would have to search for hours to find a US made TV, Micro, coffee maker, fridge, etc as they all come from China. Most of our clothes come from China. We have cut down on US foods and you will have difficulty finding a US vehicle as most are Japanese, Korean, Chinese... plus fancy BMW and Mercades.

Unfortunately, I think Musk has so much money it would be hard to hit him in the pocket.
