Coyote rescued by animal control officers who wandered into a nearly retention pond

Rescuers with the Society For The Protection of Animals (SPCA) answered a call on Tuesday February 11 about a coyote that was wandering in a nearly empty retention pond in Salinas California.
The SPCA animal control officials were able to capture the coyote who likely went into the near retention pond chasing another animal.
The coyote after being captured by the animal control to the SPCA Wildlife Center to be checked for any illnesses before the coyote was released to the wild.
