What's for din? Feb. 22. 2025

I had about a pound of hamburger meat left over from the three-pound package I thawed yesterday when I made chili, so I thought it would be a great idea to whip up some enchiladas for dinner tonight! I kept it simple with some tasty beef, enchilada sauce, flour tortillas, Rotel, and of course, lots of cheese! They’re just sitting for a couple of minutes before we dive in, and I have to say, they’re looking pretty delicious! That’s our dinner plan for this lovely Saturday evening—what’s everyone else having? Would love to hear your plans!

That looks delicious. I made a peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich and a glass of milk. It hit the spot.

My dad sent some tortilla soup to me so that’s what I had. It was pretty good.

Your Saturday dinner looked really nice. I had dim sum on Saturday evening while waiting for my part time helper to arrive.

These pass and look almost identical to any I make. Bravo Zulu, as we used to like to say for accolades in the Navy. As for dinner, I have some leftovers, so that's probably what we'll graze, and lightly. We went to Culver's for lunch and it's still sitting with us. I think we're having an Arby's repeat like we had last Saturday. Oh well.

I hope the Culver's there is better than the one we tried. Worst milkshake I have ever had. It must've been good, its wiped out. Even she child ate some, after she said she wasn't going to because she had tried taco bells enchiladas and didn't like them. lol

@thislittlepennyearns MOST Culver's are "top of the line." But I HAVE been to some less superior ones. Culver's typically is VERY involved in their chain and keeps a high quality standard. But of course, any franchise is going to have bad players. As for enchiladas, what I like about them is that they are so universal. You can make them in a number of ways and it's always good.

@porwest This one is in Fort Walton I think. Yeah I'm pretty sure its fort Walton. But the best Mexican place in the world is about four miles away.
