Remember I said before that I was told in August that because I didn’t return a paper to them in July that at the beginning of September I would not longer receive Medicaid paying for the Part B of my Medicare and the only way to resolve that was to reapply of Medicaid over the phone. Which I did and got no reply! Then I had an appeal hearing in December and didn’t reason the decision on that till early January which I was told that I still am not eligible for full service Medicaid which is not what I ever asked for! On the 14th of January I was told that I have had full medicaid since September. Then I found out a few weeks later that my supplemental medicaid insurance which runs through United Healthcare. I had not received a card from them so I called and asked why. I was told that it was sent to my old address in another county! I asked who gave them that address and they said who gave them that address. They replied that it was either social services or Medicaid. So I started asking Medicade what address they had for me and they said my present address. After being asked why I told them what happened and the woman went through my records and said that I had no gap of coverage I went in August by them paying for my Part B right to full Medicaid on September 1st and have been that way since. The United Healthcare stepped in helping as of January. ok got it!!!!! Today I get a letter from my worker saying that I will be on full Medicaid as of March 1st…….. , lol

That sounds like half of the people do not know what they are doing. While the other half does. At least you have it.

It sounds really complicated. So now you actually have Medicaid instead of not which they had said in August.

Goodness me, what a rigmarole. I'm thankful for our health service which is mostly better than yours seems to be.
