Pleurisy Chest Pain

My pleurisy has been doing me a number yesterday and today. It has barely been letting up. The chest pain doesn't just come and go. No, it looks like it is getting worse. I have resorted to leaning forward due to the pain. I am irritated by the doctor I saw today. She was so dismissive of my pain and told me to consult my doctor on Monday, so basically I have to deal with this pain until Monday if it doesn't let up tomorrow. Resting doesn't help at all. Sitting up doesn't help. Laying down doesn't help. Standing up doesn't help. Drinking water doesn't help. Eating something doesn't help. Nothing helps. I am just going to grit my teeth, keep leaning forward because that's all my body can do at this point due to the pain, and wait until Monday to talk to my doctor. Hopefully, he will provide me with some relief. I also tried to sleep and gave that up due to my insomnia that also won't let up and I wasn't prescribed anything for that either. The doctor today had a sadistic phlebotomist take my blood, told me to consult my doctor on Monday, and didn't prescribe me with any new medication. She told me to just go home without further consultation. I am so upset. Now I have to wait until Monday.
