Have You Been to the Grand Canyon?

The Grand Canyon is in Arizona in the United States. It's a national park that gets nearly 6 million visitors each year. It's considered by some to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World but I don't know if tha'ts official. It's spectacular and an absolute wonder. The Colorado River runs through it. It's 227 mile long and 10+ miles wide and is an example of soil and wind erosion. My Dad died in 1997. He was an 8 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force followed by a 25 year career in the Federal Aviation Administration and did meteorology. He had flown in military aircraft but had never been in a commercial plane. Around 1993 I had the opportunity to take him on a business trip with me to Phoenix, Arizona, and we took the weekend side trip to The Grand Canyon. He absolutely loved it. It's one of my fondest memories of me and my dad. Have you been to the Grand Canyon?
