Serenity

This picture is the definition of serenity for me. This view is from the terrace of my grandma's house. She has a small garden on the terrace. The lush green leaves and the fresh air there rejuvenate me every time I visit. My gandma's house is on the outskirts of the city-far away from the pollution, the concrete jungle and the humdrum of monotonous, busy life. What is one serene place that you can think of?

yep. My grandma loves gardening. Now she is almost 75 years old so the size of the garden has reduced significantly.

@snowy22315 Yeah it does. She keeps herself busy most of the time.

This does look like a beautiful place to relax outside. Nice that you have that spot to go to.

Do you visit your grandmother often? That does look like a very quiet and serene space to live. I don't know if I have any pictures of my house and back yard on this laptop. If I do, I'll show you what the yard looks like... We live on the outskirts or a small city far from the hustle and bustle of city life. I looked and I don't have any photos of our house/back yard on this laptop... If I can remember, I'll take a photo when the yards green up this Spring and show you. I think you'll like what I see outside.

I visit her twice a year minimum- one is fixed for Durga Puja holidays and another is random(any time of the year whenever I have holidays). Last year we visited her 4 times in a year. Its a 4 hrs journey from my place. Yeah I would love to see the pictures!

@Dreamerby It's always nice to visit your grandmother... They appreciate extra visits even when the visits aren't planned. I'll keep looking for the pictures. I know I took some and have even posted a couple of them on myLot but I don't remember on what discussion.

@DaddyEvil Yes. She doesn't live alone though. My maternal uncle, aunt and cousin live in the same house.

The property we left was my version of serenity - no noise, no pollution, no people.
