Venetian blinds

With great enthusiasm we had put up Venetian Blinds on all our windows when we just shifted here
I have now rolled most of them up as we no longer need them for most windows that have opaque glass and the trees outside are giving us enough shade including the desired privacy.
Since we have louvre windows with some opaque glass they keep Peeping Toms away specially in the night

We keep blinds on our windows because they help keep unwanted light out when we don't want it.

We have that issue only in a small part of the house specially where the computer desk is and there we have our blinds down .

Wow the drawing room looks beautiful but the blinds would have added another element of aesthetics indeed!

Blinds are there for practical reasons Curtain would perhaps add to the aesthetics but they are a load as we have 31 windows.

@allknowing hmm I see.But the blinds would, you know, add to the rustic kinda theme here. White lace curtains would go with the theme too.

That is just a part of the room. We have our dining and entertainment section in the same hall.
