Another Taco Sunday

Yep...we had Soft and Bold Tacos tonight. Cooking in the new kitchen is so much easier than the old place.
Did Laundry today, and Tom tried to replace the old electric recepticle, but the one he bought to replace it didn't fit. We are finding that we do not have Plaster walls...we have Plywood walls. I noticed a pattern showing through the paint in the bathroom. Then I tried to put a thumb tack in the wall to have my dream catcher, and even though I pushed really hard, the thumb tack, only went in enough that the string would go on and hold the catcher. Tried to put another one in, and it would not go in at all. Thumb tacks go into drywall pretty easy. So we now believe that most of the interior walls are playwood with maybe a coating of plaster on them. Tom keeps saying that the landlord said we could not put nails in the wall, but I didn't hear him say that, but if indeed the walls are plywood, it would be about right to say no nails.
So tomorrow I will be going to see about some 2 sided Gorilla Tape to put my pictures on the walls. LOL

There are drills available particularly meant for drilling plywood You might want to check on that.

Sounds like the new kitchen is already making life easier-tacos always make a good day even better! The plywood walls sound tricky, but the Gorilla Tape idea seems like a smart workaround for hanging your pictures without risking damage.

We don't usually like to hammer nails into the wall. We try to paste them
