The renowned Zen master, Artov Kronmult, was a talking to his students about divine silence. He gave them this koan: A dog barked loudly in the courtyard, but who was barking the dog, or the Universe through him? A student replied, "the dog barked, that’s all I can say." The master smiled, “No, when anything makes a noise, it is the divine silence of the Universe coming alive in him too, so be careful what you say, and of how you say it, as divinity always wants to work with you, not through you,” he replied. He then added, the following statement, referring to the recent trend of books being published, via channelled teachings, coming through so-called channels, from a so-called higher level being. “In the silence of our hearts, we work with God, but in our minds, we work only as ourselves. These channelers of so-called truth, channel through the mind, not with you, in your heart, and so this channelled information is mostly garbled garbage, and never really higher truth.” “Someone, the great Lao Tzu, a Chinese Philosopher, once said: “The words of truth are always paradoxical.” “He was wrong here though, as truth is always just itself, truth. It is we who see it in any other way than what it really always is, truth.” Photo Credit: The photo used in this article was sourced from the free media site, pixabay.com Truth is always itself.

Some are afraid of the truth and so avoid it by any means. The mind becomes restless jumping from one thought to another in quick succession. In a nutshell they are afraid of being who they are supposed to be. Silent contemplation brings us closer to the inner knowing that is connected to our creator. It is the truth that shines then to guide us the right path.

Thanks, siva, well said. It is said as soon as we drop love, we bring in, or create fears. We need the courage of a heart of love to overcome a mind of fear, and to keep our heart warmed by the fires of God's love, connecting us to him too, as if our hearts go cold, we do not feel God so much when we are even cold to ourselves, fearing being who God created us to be, so rather being an iceberg of frozenness of action instead, and then getting distracted by mind drivels, that cause us to go even further away, chasing useless goals instead.

Yeah truth is always bitter, as they say. We try to avoid it or get past it but the truth remains immaculate.

@innertalks Thanks Steve, everyone comes with unique talents. The main issue that holds us back, the most well endowed species, is our misplaced priorities. We plunder nature as if everything belongs to us only, and others are there for us to lord over them. When love and truth drive us, we cannot go wrong but we prefer to play with fire. Sadly, we elect politicians as our leaders, not those with wisdom. The latter are sidelined just like love and truth. No wonder the majority ends up as mere pawns, chasing a mirage, frog in the well attitude, instead of leading a love-filled, blissful, life.

Yes, truth is always forever just itself, and it is we that distort it with our own views, or misunderstand it working as it will in our lives, when we step up to love, and live fully from its truths then, being fired up in us fully then too.
