Short Story: Divine Silence brings forth divine truths

The renowned Zen master, Artov Kronmult, was a talking to his students about divine silence. He gave them this koan: A dog barked loudly in the courtyard, but who was barking the dog, or the Universe through him? A student replied, "the dog barked, that’s all I can say." The master smiled, “No, when anything makes a noise, it is the divine silence of the Universe coming alive in him too, so be careful what you say, and of how you say it, as divinity always wants to work with you, not through you,” he replied. He then added, the following statement, referring to the recent trend of books being published, via channelled teachings, coming through so-called channels, from a so-called higher level being. “In the silence of our hearts, we work with God, but in our minds, we work only as ourselves. These channelers of so-called truth, channel through the mind, not with you, in your heart, and so this channelled information is mostly garbled garbage, and never really higher truth.” “Someone, the great Lao Tzu, a Chinese Philosopher, once said: “The words of truth are always paradoxical.” “He was wrong here though, as truth is always just itself, truth.
