Bore da!
I've just been to the little Tesco again. It's really lovely out today. I didn't even need my gloves.
But inside the little Tesco was a disaster zone! I could hardly get anything!
Well, it started off OK. I got some baking paper because we were running low on that. Then I got the TV magazines as usual.
It was when I turned the corner that it started to go pear shaped. A chill cabinet to my right that usually contains sandwiches and bottled drinks was empty with a metal sheet in front of it with a notice on it saying: Sorry for any inconvenience. We are unable to sell anything from this cabinet due to running at high temperature.
I turned into the isle on my left to look for cakes (chocolate croissants) from the freshly baked section for my Mum and Syd for their supper tonight. There was nothing there! The area was completely empty. I thought, Oh, right. OK. So what am I going to get them then? Then I saw some gingerbread men on the top shelf, so I got 2 of those!
Then I looked for some Warburton's 6 sliced white rolls, but couldn't find any of those either. I got a snickers for Syd, but then when I looked for some malted milk biscuits for my Mum I couldn't see any of those either.
So, I went round to the fruit and veg section. The bit by the window was OK. But then when I turned to where the lettuce usually is, there was nothing there! All the way up to where the strawberries are, nothing. Then there was some strawberries on the bottom shelf, and something else which I can't remember what it was, but above that again it was empty. So I got some strawberries.
My Mum wanted some Hunter's Chicken, and they were in the chill cabinet next to where the strawberries are. Except they weren't. Because ALL the chill cabinets were empty with signs on them like the previous one, right up to the end cabinet where the desserts and yoghurts are, but even that had one of the signs on! So I couldn't get the Hunter's Chicken either. I heard a guy talking to one of the shop assistants, he said, This is bad, isn't it? She said, It's a disaster! He asked her when the engineer would be coming, and she said, He's already here!
At the end of the isle I treated myself to a little notebook. Then I went to get the milk, before any shop assistants decided to take them out of that chill cabinet!
The freezers seemed to be working, so I got the fish fingers that Mum wanted, but I couldn't get any f*****s that she wanted. (They are different to meat balls because meat balls are usually made with beef and f*****s are made with pork!)
Then I went to pay. It came to just over £18 with and without club card. And then I went home.
When I got home I told Mum that I could hardly get anything, and told her what had happened. I told her that the shop had been a disaster zone!
Then I unpacked what I did get, and put it away.
Now I'm watching Homes Under the Hammer again.
What are you lot getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

No, I'm going to the big Tesco today as usual, and I'll get some of that then.
