Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 42 degrees F and clear here at the Jersey Shore. It is supposed to get up to 58 today. 
I'm not at work because I have to report to court for jury duty today. It says a lot when I'd rather be at work than have to deal with that. 
Oh well. I will show up and just hope that I am dismissed. In any case I'll bring some ice water and a book and hope for the best.
I'm supposed to have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon but I don't know if I'll even be around to do that. I emailed the students last night and told them to keep an eye on their email to see if we can meet or if we will have to reschedule. I truly hope I can just get it done because I have 9 hours scheduled this week. It will be difficult to get that all done if I'm not getting back here until 5:30pm each day.
What's everyone else up to today?

Good morning... It's 40F in my part of Missouri this morning and we're supposed to reach 70F by late this afternoon.
I hope they don't choose you to sit in on one of the court cases. Good luck!
I'm not feeling the best today. I'm running a slight fever and asked Pretty if she could manage if I turned the heat up in the house for a while. I raised it by 3 degrees from 68F to 71F. I keep shivering under my comforter.

Have Pretty get you out another blanket. Having chills and fever isn't fun. I hope you feel better very soon!

@MarieCoyle The spare blankets are out in the garage. If it wasn't so cold outside, I'd get one myself. She can manage at 72F for a day or so... Usually she wants it warmer in the house anyway.
Thanks. We get to walk to the doctor's office tomorrow morning early for my a1c check up. If I'm still running a fever by then, I'm sure the doctor will check me over.

Hopefully, you will get lucky. My oldest son was on a jury duty last year that looked like a cut and dried case to him at first...and it ended up being a week long. He wasn't the happiest camper!!
