oooh apartment life drama

I've never been one to get into other peoples' business or care much but I've found that it can be unavoidable living in an apartment and in such close quarters to others. I was in the kitchen making breakfast. Windows are closed. The door is shut. That being said I clearly heard Smokey McSmokerson's mother tell him that she wanted him out by today because he is an a-hole. He obviously was out on the landing smoking something and had done something to piss her off. Do I think that he actually will leave? No. How could he? He doesn't have a job. He doesn't drive. Obviously he has nowhere to go which is why he's been living with his mother and aunt all this time. Personally I would be relieved if he did leave though. We are on friendly terms but it would be nice to be able to open up the windows without the stink of cigarettes and pot coming in here. It would be nice not to get hotboxed in my own apartment.

They are enabling him. Time to toss him out of the nest and see if he can fly or plummets to the ground.

Not sure how he could make it on his own.

@porwest like I said I doubt he’ll leave. He’s been there for months so she can’t make him leave without going through the eviction process

@NJChicaa Let him suffer it out. I have little sympathy for ne'er do wells.

That apartment life drama is why I always insist Pretty and I live in a house. I lived in an apartment for three months and got tired of hearing elephants above me and people banging on the walls and floor of my apartment. I was quiet. I don't know how they heard anything I did. It was very annoying.

I’ve been there almost 6 years. Overall it has been fine though there certainly has been some drama

@NJChicaa I understand. I'm just glad we've been able to find houses when we needed to move for whatever reason.

We can only hope he finds a way to leave.

Some apartments have alot of space between apartments. If I ever were to live in that kind of situation again I would look for something like that.

People get stuck in these situations. I'm talking about his mother, really, and him - not you.

I had all kinds of interesting neighbors when I lived in an apartment. When I say interesting, I mean horrid.

Lovely the smell isn't it? Here I got 3 assho*es on all sides of me smoking it up and we are literally dying in here.
