Free Beef Skirt Steak

I just got back home 15 minutes ago after having a delicious meal with my brother. As usual, he treated me to lunch at his favorite Israeli restaurant. He knows the owner and they are super close friends. It was his treat, so I didn't refuse one bit.
And as usual, the food was absolutely delicious. We had grilled beef skirt steak with a side of fresh vegetable salad, caramelized onions, and couscous which is a type of pasta. We both went with water for the beverages since it was too early to drink. We never drink in the daytime in public. That's just a family rule we have. There are exceptions like if we are celebrating something, but we are not celebrating anything today. My brother paid a lot for our two meals. I don't have that kind of money to afford that restaurant so I'm grateful to him. He's a good big brother when he wants to be!

I always thought couscous was a grain. It sure tastes like one. Glad you had another great meal.

It's a type of round pasta. For some it can be a grain. Where did you buy your couscous from? Thank you. It was a great meal!

Skirt steak is much more tender and easier on the teeth. Thank you. He can be awful at times, but he can be sweet at times too.
