I thought the CNN thing would do the trick

After 14 jurors were seated we each had to answer questions about ourselves including our jobs, our education, if we have any bumper stickers on our cars, and if we watch the news. I told them that I always have the news on and that the CNN logo is burned into my plasma TV. (True story) I thought for sure that would get be kicked off. Nope. We just had an hour for lunch and will return to the courtroom soon.

This made me laugh. Thank you for that! Did the logo really get burned into your plasma TV? Haha

There are five potential ways to get out of jury duty: Economic Hardship. One of the more common reasons people are excused from jury duty is because serving on the jury presents that person with an economic hardship. Personal Opinions. Felony Conviction. Family Issues. Physical/Mental Disabilities. We honestly don't know you well enough to suggest any way these five topics could help you get out of jury duty. I'm sorry, I thought it was worth a try.

Darn it, girl. Don’t you know at least one Bible verse to say is your bumper sticker?

Next time, say Fox News or the Epoch Channel. (If you can say that with a straight face….)

What a pity you couldn't have quickly made up a sticker that would have got you exempted.
