Thinking of giving this a try

For my mom’s birthday I bought her a greeting card from Blue Mountain Arts. I love their cards because the greetings inside are not generic. The words are those that seem more personal. And sometimes it feels as if you could’ve written them to the person you are gifting the card to. I went to check out their website and it turns out that people can submit their (non-rhyming) poems or prose for consideration to be used in their greeting cards, books, and other products. And they actually pay if your work is accepted. That sounds really cool. Being a poet and writer I think I may submit something. Just have to figure out what. I have written some greetings in the past so have to see if any of them are good to submit. Or perhaps I should just write something new.
