Do you believe Donald Trump's media company really paid Donald Trump Jr. one quarter of its revenues for attending two board meetings?

I don't know if Forbes is a Conservative or Liberal publication, but their headline claims that Trump Media paid Donald Trump Junior one quarter of its 2024 earnings for attending two board meetings this past year. Do you believe this could be true? I know the Company is losing money, and that their stock (DJT) is overvalued, but that's about all I know. I tried reading the article, but pop-ups and such like started happening. Are you able to read the whole thing?

All financial sectors of media is conservative. They may allow liberals on them just to get some kind of perspective but mostly they all run by conservatives or so called. When you hear stories like this is because even rich people are tired of rich people.

@TheHorse Probably? They even making things unfair for me is usually the only reason you hear stories like this.

Are they lessening their guilt by writing about absurd abuses of power?

Hey, at this point I will believe anything until it is completely disproved. BTW What does Donald Jr. do for a living?

@TheHorse well it also says he is a reality TV personality. This is the first time I even looked at a photo of him online.

@RasmaSandra He looks kind of weird to me. Really clenched up, with fake looking teeth.

In general, I trust Forbes, at least with fundamental facts.

I have no knowledge about these kinds of things. However, if that's the case, is it illegal to get paid that much?

I do not know. But that company has investors. Paying someone hundreds of thousands of dollars for doing virtually nothing sounds unethical to me.

@TheHorse True. But I do wonder if what is unethical can be considered illegal.
