Hid All of the Easter Candy From Myself

United States

I went nuts for the last 10 days eating Easter Candy that only comes out once a year. It's a particular Hershey candy coated easter egg that I like and I bought more bags than I'm willing to say. And I ate them. So it's back on the routine Carnivore Diet. The sugar was affecting my mood, mental status, and weight. Rather than throw them away or finish the remaining bags, I hid them all throughout the house. I honestly don't remember where all I put them, so I'm not likely to go in search of them in the middle of the night. Chocolate is an all or nothing thing for me because I'm addicted to it. I have to keep reminding myself to stay away from it.

My mom had a thing for chocolate, but I didn’t seem to get it. I don’t like how tired I feel after eating it.

I guess you are a chocoholic for real. I probably eat it everyday, but not alot of it. Maybe just a piece or two.

That’s one of the things that had me well over 200 pounds three years ago. Now I have a weekly treat (hot chocolate this weekend because of the cold, but it can also be a Peppermint Patty). I also indulge in chocolate tea! Good luck.

When a person has intense cravings for a certain food and cannot control them, there is always a reason. From Sciencedirect.com Nutrient Deficiencies trigger chocolate cravings In accordance with experts, you experience chocolate cravings when your body needs certain nutrients. While I was in the hospital I ate a lot of chocolate because my boyfriend and mom got me a heart shaped box of chocolate for Valentine’s Day plus my mom brought me a big bag of peppermint Pattie’s. And that is not all I had a lot of chocolate shakes and only put on 9 pounds from all of it.

I think the candy at Easter is better than all the other holidays. I can't resist Peeps. V Congrats on your self control. I've found I don't eat as many sweets if I can't see them.
