Resurgence

I find myself trying to look away from the storm ahead, yet life seems determined to teach me how to face it head-on. It’s during moments like these that I turn to writing. I've often wished I could approach life with a bovine calmness- unshaken and indifferent- but it never quite works that way. When I work toward something, I can't help but hope for the best results. It used to be for others, but now, it’s for me.
I can only hope I’ll navigate this rough phase of my life with resilience.
Have you ever experienced a 'lowest point' in your life? How did you make it through?

I wish you the very best. You seem so calm and logical about it.
Well I have no choice to face adversity head on, for there is no one else to help me survive it.
Oh there are many times in life including now being without a place to live once again is a possibility to prepare for.

Having a creative outlet is likely to help, the struggle can bring inspiration and many artists created masterpieces when they were at their lowest. I'd call it transmutation, or the alchemic process of turning "lead" into "gold".
I'm sure everything will make sense in the future, be patient and confide in the Holy.

Hope you reach new highs in the future. I think life is a series of highs and lows which we might experience on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis. I believe once you realize that things do not always go your way or that at times, we face things which seem impossible to overcome, we learn to adjust our expectations. Disappointments, hardships, and failures are not fun, but are necessary in order to handle them better when similar ones occur in the future.
Oftentimes, what seems an impossible situation works itself out overtime. That's where patience comes in which is a very hard yet helpful thing to do. As some wise person said, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger.
Best wishes for a turnaround soon!

I had. And it lasted for, many years. As a school and college student I suffered from a speech defect. So much so that I was unable to answer my roll call. I had to take the help of a proxy. My speech defect could not let me avail of,many, golden opportunities. It took me,years to overcome it.That was the lowest point,in my life.

@Dreamerby Thanks. I had to practice letters that were difficult to me to pronounce. I continued the practice for three to four years. Then I began mixing up with people; especially with strangers. I noticed that I trued to hide my defect from others lest they might ridicule me. Finally I began delivering " lectures" to my friends.
My attempts finally delivered. Now my speech defect is history.

Challenges are meant to be faced and calmer one is easier it is to face them.

Of course I have... and I just kept going, no matter what else was happening in my life. If you ever stop, then life overwhelms you.
I know you'll do just fine. I believe in you.
